For this week's nails I am wearing Essie Penny Talk. This shade is included in Essie's Mirror Metallics that came out a few months back but is still available at some Walmart and Shoppers Drug Mart. Penny Talk is a gorgeous bronze-y, rose-gold metallic shade. The application can be quite difficult as the formula is somewhat inconsistent and streaky. Also, the brush strokes are visible on the nails which is common with metallic polishes but a gorgeous shade nonetheless.

this was the color that i wanted the most from the Mirror Metallics collection! the application looks like it could be streaky but your photos are streak-free! it so pretty! such a unique rose gold

DeleteThis looks really good under flash, but not so much under the natural light...it's just a gorgeous colour though. It would match my rose gold Tissot watch!
ReplyDeleteYes, its picture under natural light is not the most flattering, it's hard to get good pictures now because of the gloomy weather we've been having. Have you tried this shade?
DeleteI haven't tried it yet...should I get it? Do you think it's worth having in my collection? I don't think I own a shade quite like this so maybe?
DeleteThis polish is worth it in my collection as this is the only rose gold I have. I heard Orly's Rage, which is a similar shade, has a better formula but it's hard to find in my area. If you are into rose gold, then I'd def recommend this polish :)
